My Gardenia

Many things have happended since April and was sorting through the whole process the other day. Of course it is hard for me to look at things objectively sometimes because I dwell on the negative way to much. The what if's, if you know what I mean.

So many changes and me trying to be still before my Lord but at the same time wanting Him to hurry up the process. I thought that the time in Hawaii was going to be for 5 years and the 3rd of August was the 5 year mark for coming and deciding to live here in Kona on the Big Island.

My job is wonderful greatly due to the hours, but just being able to contribute to a business is great too.

As a mother and grandmother I am missing the kids and grandkids but the kids make sure that I am in the know about what is happening in their lives and in the grandkids lives too. Which is so wonderful.

In fact my oldest son called yesterday afternoon which was 10:30 pm his time and he had taken the family camping. They were still awake because GraceE, was so excited and was wide awake. Just talking and sharing with him reminded me of the days when we went camping as a family and I was reliving the experiences all over again which was so wonderful. I thanked him for sharing his camping experience with us.

For as long as the Lord has us here I'm praying that I will stay content in where He has placed me.

I took this picture of the gardenia a couple of weeks ago. So thought I would share it with whoever reads this -

WOW! Your flower is beautiful. Thanks so very much for sharing it with us. My thoughts are with you as you continue your journey of time there in Hawaii. I hope that you will continue to hear from the kids and maybe the wait won't seem too long.

    Hugs
